September 2020 Sacred Sister Circle, Part 2: Story Share & Prayer Circle
By Invitation Only, A Red Tent Welcome Sister Event
September 12th, 2020 at 6 pm MST (8 pm EST) via Zoom
Welcome Sister,

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of our beautiful community of women and Sacred Sisterhood. Our September gathering is priestessed by one of the Keepers of our Temple, Amanda Montoya. Amanda has created a loving practice through her three part Sacred Sister Circle series. Through these teachings, we come together to anchor in the frequency of unconditional love and truth, assisting in the healing and rising of the feminine energy. In these circles we are reminded how to hold sacred space for ourselves and our Sisters as healing occurs.
The first part of this series was held in June, close to the Summer Solstice, a time when the radiance of the Sun nourishes our vitality, and equally true, a time when the Sun gives way to the coming darkness. Here we began developing or strengthening our practice of Self-Love near the time of Fall Equinox, a time of Balance between the darkness and light. Awakening and diving deep into the feminine and connecting with ourselves, healing shadow aspects of the feminine longing for our love. (You need not have attended the first part of the series to attend the second.)
During the second part of this series, on September 12th, Amanda presents an opportunity to use the sacred tools we have developed and/or strengthened and apply them to the sacred feminine relationships we have outside of ourselves. Amanda will lead us in a guided meditation to bring us into the moment, the heart and center of ourselves, and our Sisterhood.

Please bring a notebook or journal, and your favorite essential oil. Magic happens when Sister's share the deepest parts of themselves with no judgment, ready and willing to do this important work, and knowing that this takes practice and patience with ourselves and our Sisters. As we rewrite and rewire thousands of years of programming designed to separate ourselves from ourselves and each other we are calling back the power and wisdom of Sisterhood with the gifts of Grace and Love. Thank you for your vulnerability and your willingness to grow and expand in self love. And for being courageous in your decision to step in and claim your sovereign role as Goddess/Priestess/Creatrix/Healer. |

What is Red Tent?
Each Tent offered is an opportunity to enter the Temple of the Goddess. A Divine honor and privilege to be alive in a place and space in time where we are safe and free to gather. Together, we are healing our wounds of suffering and silence from the past. As we heal, our healing ripples across time and space reaching through the portal of time. To be seen by the Goddess and witnessed by our Sisters is more powerful than you can imagine!

The Red Tent, by Anita Diamant, is the book that has inspired a Global Movement. Women who read this book unlock an ancient memory and longing to gather with other women and remember who they are as sacred and holy vessels of Spirit. There is also a wonderful documentary I officially endorse under Nectar of Life Counseling called Things We Don't Talk About: Women's Stories from the Red Tent.
Not sure about how Christianity and the Goddess can co-exist?
Dance of the Dissident Daughter, by Sue Monk Kidd, opens long hidden secrets of what was dissolved from scripture through intentional acts of erasing the value and importance of women. The research has already been expertly done by a self-proclaimed conventionally religious woman.
