We had a SPECTACULAR Yule/Winter Solstice Corn Seed Ceremony last night. Sisters, each and every detail was addressed and accounted for. I am in awe and inspired, as well as grateful to have been in your company across the miles.
Thank you, Alys, for creating the beautiful Yule Log and sharing with us the exploration of Winter Solstice celebrations the world wide. Even with the glue gun trials, you gifted us a stunning piece with deep and sacred magic. In sharing with us the traditions, worldwide, you gifted us a powerful reminder of how connected we are in the depth of Winter and our human desire to celebrate the returning Light. You have such a lovely eye to capture the beauty of our Sisterhood and we are blessed with the images to remind ourselves of this time we shared and to share with our Sisterhood.
Amanda, the meaningful and vibrant journey you led us on to meet and welcome sadness, sorrow, and grief, was gentle and caring. We each, and collectively, received a necessary permission to be in relationship with the darker emotions that lead to release, cleansing, and healing when we are able to be in presence as a nurturing and caring partner with them. Thank you for gifting us the subtle power of inviting our senses along to smell the ‘spice of cedar and fir’ while walking through the forest. It added a deliciousness in settling into the journey I had not expected.
The Corn Seed Ceremony Singing Otter led us on was, once again, a powerful opportunity to set in motion our wishes, hopes, and desires for the coming year. 7 Seeds for the Body, 7 for the Heart, another 7 for the Soul, and 1 Seed for Mystery – to gather, in this sacred Hopi Tradition, is a blessing and honor for each of us in attendance. It carries not only our intention, but the Magic of being in Circle within a Sisterhood, and the many thousands of Winter Solstices the Hopi’s have performed this ceremony, all lend the energy to imbue and ignite our Turn of the Wheel into 2020. The Goddess of the Cosmos was presenting to Singing Otter by Amanda to thank her for, once again, opening her home to Hostess Red Tent. And my goodness, the Temple was STUNNING!
What a treasured experience our 3 Priestesses gifted to us as we close out 2019 with intention and dreams! Be sure to mark your calendars for our next Tent on January 11th, as Alayna, fresh from a week long dream workshop, brings us into our dreams to really solidify your 2020. And, thank you Singing Otter for thoughtfully planning our schedule through Vision Boards in November, our annual Corn Seed Ceremony, and our coming Dream Theatre in January. This is such a wonderfully unique opportunity to really invoke intentional Magic over the past three months.
Loving you always!
